The Young Professionals are
a division of the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce aimed
at cultivating business relationships among the "younger"
and newer members of our community. The Young Professionals
group is open to any professional 40 years old or younger
or any professional new to the community within the past
five years. Our primary mission is networking while our
secondary focus is educating our members on topics that
are relevant to our age group. |
The Young Professionals try to sponsor five to six "events"
per year ranging from informational meetings and networking
opportunities to our signature event, our annual "Golf with
Your Boss" golf outing. We operate by means of volunteers, donations
and corporate sponsorships and do not require any mandatory
fees from our participants. After all, we are here to mingle
and get to know each other, not to raise money!

How to Get Involved: Contact an officer for more information!
Membership is not required to attend our events. All area young
professionals are welcome. Bring your friends and co-workers
and meet other YP's.

Tuesday, February 19th 5-7pm
Come downtown and check out the new FANTAIL BREWING COMPANY!!!
Co-owner, Stan Longstreet, will be our speaker. Come and hear
all about the microbrew process and learn about how they turned
their building into such a showcase! All YP's attending will
also receive a $1 off draft coupon for use that night. More
details coming soon!

Congratulations to Dave Cramton, Mike
Liston, Noah Ream and Chris Romantyk, the winning team
at our Second Annual "Golf With Your Boss" Golf Outing
and Happy Hour. Forty-nine golfers enjoyed a great afternoon
playing nine holes at Klinger Lake County Club before
moving on to the Lone Eagle Landing to join some of our
"non-golfers" and their bosses for a great happy hour
on July 25, 2007. |
The rain didn't dampen anybody's spirits and a good time was
had by all. The winning foursome each received a dozen Titliests
donated by local businesses and every participant was entered
to win one of several great other prizes donated by area businesses.
A special Thank You goes out to our Event Sponsors: Century

Company. We couldn't do it without you! We would also like to
