The Young Professionals are
a division of the Sturgis Area Chamber of Commerce aimed
at cultivating business relationships among the "younger"
and newer members of our community. The Young Professionals
group is open to any professional 40 years old or younger
or any professional new to the community within the past
five years. Our primary mission is networking while our
secondary focus is educating our members on topics that
are relevant to our age group. |
The Young Professionals try to sponsor five to six "events"
per year ranging from informational meetings and networking
opportunities to our signature event, our annual "Golf with
Your Boss" golf outing. We operate by means of volunteers, donations
and corporate sponsorships and do not require any mandatory
fees from our participants. After all, we are here to mingle
and get to know each other, not to raise money!

How to Get Involved: Contact an officer for more information!
Membership is not required to attend our events. All area young
professionals are welcome. Bring your friends and co-workers
and meet other YP's.

Hello everyone! Please join me in congratulating LORI SUMMEY
as the 2008/2009 Young Professionals Vice-Chair!! Lori will
team up with our new Chairperson, SHELLY HENDRICK, to run our
group!! It was a close race this year between Lori and Jennifer
Liston.
Thank you to everyone who took the time to vote. And thank you
to everyone who made this past year so fun!
